We are responsible for any personal information this website collects (the "data controller" under UK data protection law).
The short version
- This website doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you around the web.
- We only collect what you send us with the contact form, plus anonymous visitor counts.
- We never sell your information or share it for advertising.
If you send us a message
When you use the contact form we keep your email address, the topic you chose and your message, so we can read it and reply. That's our legitimate interest in answering you. Messages are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted automatically. Ask us and we'll delete yours sooner.
Visitor counts
To see which pages are popular, our server counts page visits. It doesn't use cookies, tracking scripts or any outside analytics company. Each visit records the page, the time, the kind of device (computer, phone or tablet) and, if your browser says, the website that linked you here.
To count each visitor once a day, your shortened internet address (with the last part removed) and your browser's name are turned into a scrambled code that changes every day and can't be turned back. We can't tell who you are from it, or follow you from one day to the next. Visit counts are kept for 12 months.
Like almost every website, our server also keeps short technical logs to keep the site running and secure. These use the same shortened internet address and are deleted automatically after a short time.
Where it's kept
The website and everything above are on our own server, rented from OVHcloud in the United Kingdom. Only Coreplix Studios can see this information.
Other websites
This site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google to download them; Google's own privacy policy applies to that. Links to Steam, Discord, YouTube, X and our press kits take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Email hello@coreplixstudios.co.uk and we'll reply within a month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
